“Emotional and physical recharge – What an astonishing experience this was. I visited Dalraddy as a child in the ‘70s, and had wonderful memories. This visit blew my mind. The caravan was spotless, clean bedding and a well laid out kitchen. The peace and tranquillity of our woodland spot was ideal to recharge and also to enjoy true relaxation. Cannot fault our blissful stay in this paradise. 💕” – Fraser, May 2024
“Stayed in Chalet 24. Lovely setting, spectacular scenery. Great bus stop close to entrance of park that has a regular bus into Aviemore. Onsite shop has good selection of emergency items and Wine. Chalet is a brilliant size. Bed really comfortable. No WiFi but who needs it with that view.” – Susan, May 2024
“My family and I have been going to Dalraddy Holiday Park since I was a little girl. I’m now 35 and have my own 5 year old. We still have been going two or three times a year. We have stayed in caravans but over the last 10 years or so we have been staying in the chalets. They are well spaced out so don’t feel like you are crammed in. The views are amazing, it’s lovely and quiet. (you do hear the train going past but you tend to forget and zone out to this). There is lots to do in the site and nearby. We have done the quad bikes several times and more recently got a private trek as it was my birthday. amazing! We have also been on the Thomas the tank engine train which my 5 year old loves. An adventure! We have also been along to the zip lines and we have played in the onsite Park almost every night we are there. There is now a bike track for adults and kids and an area for football. You can also go to the camp area and use the communal fire pits to toast your marshmallows or just for a heat in the winter months! The Alvie food van is also worth mentioning (on site food truck), lots of delicious freshly prepared meals every day and saves having to cook or leave the site. During the day the coffee truck and shop are open for the essentials 👌 Aviemore town is a 5 minute drive. The Highland wildlife park, landmark adventure park, go karts, Loch Morloch beach (pine Martin food and bar and the cairngorm Park all within 15 mins drive too! Lots to do, would fully recommend for families or couples for a Scottish break. Dalraddy even featured on TV recently too and won awards for best camp site! See you soon Dalraddy! We miss you already! – Jennifer, August 2023
